So Sick

OK, maybe not so, but a little. Baby girl is not feeling her best. Clues to this were: not eating (we normally never miss a meal), not sleeping (sleep would be about and hour and then up we actually slept on the couch last night from midnight to 3:30 b/c she is not allowed in my bed see previous post), hanging all over me (not that I didn't enjoy it, but not her usually action), not playing at Granny Pam's (she's usually one of the ring leaders, but not today).

So off to the Dr. we go, diagnosis: Ear Infection SURPRISE! At least we got meds this time we went. Nothing for the runny nose, but hopefully they will figure out something for babies soon, or she will be old enough to get some meds.

Today I said to Kaya "Go get us some books to read!" She grabbed the newspaper and began to read! It was so cute! She just kept looking at the paper. I am also including some pictures of SNOW yes SNOW. Last week we had two days of light snow. It was awesome, but it has been so cold here, I'm freezing all the time!!!

I can't belive you are Nine years old! You were so little when you were born at 3 lbs. and 14 oz. and now you are almost as tall as me! You are so sweet and caring. I love you so much baby boy! No matter if you are 8 feet tall you will always be my baby!

FFF-Cry Baby!!!

The theme for the week is crying! Most pictures are of our babies smiling and laughing, but we want to see how our babies look when they are crying!!!

I love this picture because of the look Karis has on her face. She's thinking "Oh my goodness! This baby is crying again." In Kaya's defense it was taken after church and anyone with a kiddo knows that they are exhausted after being at church!


In this day of digital most of our crying pictures are erased asap! I did find this one. Kaya was trying to get up on my bed at mom and dad's house and all I wanted to do was take her picture.


!Injury update! Kaya's stitches are out and her lip looks so good! She has a little scar, but you can hardly see it. We actually had some pictures made today. One of my friends from Parkview made them so I'll post them as soon as I get them. We are using some of them for our Christmas card, but Kaya was her usual uncooperative self. She was good, but running around all over the room and playing, but not standing still.

I called the Witch Dr. he said "Ooo Eee Ow Ah Ah"

Poor Baby Kaya fell off my bed, it's a long story, but it ended with our first trip to the ER and three stitches in her bottom lip. Here's the damage. It looks worse today b/c of the bruising, but notice the blood on her pj's. There was so much blood! Poor baby.

Here's the story. We both fell asleep on the couch, she wouldn't go to her bed she was screaming her head off! So I did what I thought would be a good move, not so! I put her in my bed and we tried to go to sleep. She rolled and rocked, she was not comfortable, and Darbee moved (I think,) Kaya went for another look and over the side she went. Down to the floor and smacking the side of my bed frame when she was falling. I told her that she was ok, when she looked up, blood was gushing out her lip. I tried pressure, and called our resident Nurse Practioner Aunt Nanny. Advice, go to the hospital. So off we went. We clocked in at 2:00 and out at 4:25. It was a long night, but they did a good job.

This was our first holiday together! I was so excited Kaya was home! Looking through there aren't many pictures of Kaya and I together, I guess it's a mom thing, I'm usually the one behind the camera, but I am gonna have to change that! Monster Mash!

We spent the weekend at my parents! We had such a good time Trick or Treating! Mostly treating! I am also including a picture of the LFC group at Trick or Trunk! We had a great time with the group and you will have to notice Kaya is the only one who was so over it! She says "Trick or Treat," but it sounds more like Turkey! and then she would say Tanks to everyone! I made sure of it!

This is the LFC group a few had left at this point, it was a long night for the little ones, I'm still not sure of everyone's name, but aren't they cuties! Can you see Kaya's six pony tails??

You will notice Uncle Chuck is making a little appearance too b/c Kaya was so scared of Kip's costume she started shaking and screaming! We did all we could to get this picture made! Kip would take off his mask and Kaya would look at him and say "Bippy?" Then she was fine. It was so funny!

Teen Wolf and Black Cat aren't they so cute! OK, well maybe Kip is not so cute, but he is on the inside!

This was made at Ms. Velvet and Mr. Leon's Karis' babysitters. They are so good to our girls! They had such a nice place to have pictures made! Even if the subjects were "Clowning around!"
