"Snowball"

Ugh, One week almost between posts and I am supposed to be doing better. We haven't been doing a whole lot. No that's not right I just haven't been taking pictures. This weekend we were went to my parent's I forgot my camera. Today a Snow Day. Kaya and I didn't change out of our pj's, it was great!!!

We've played Kaya's ran through the house. Right now she's jumping off a folded blanket and just laughing. It's too cute! She's bending over and jumping with both feet hehe it's too cute! Just like her!

If you've been an avid reader of my blog you may have noticed that all my titles of posts are songs. Some are random songs like this one by Devo (I thought they only did WhipIt). I started doing alll songs with the exception of FFF blogs. There may be one I missed, but it's just one of my things.

OH I'm now a FB junkie, I had resisted, but now resistance is futile, I had to join. I love it. I have reconnected with so many of my friends that I had in college "Shout Out to AGD" and people from high school. I even have found my friend Ryan L. after loosing touch. I'm so excited. If you are on FB let me know or find me, it's not hard!

Dr. Feelgood 19 months check up!

Well we are late with this check up, but we went today for really her 18 month check up at 19 months. We've always been a little behind on them! Kaya weighed 29 lbs. and was 33 1/2 inches long. She is meeting all her milestones and the Dr. was pleased! She grew almost an inch since she has been to the dr. (16 month check up). She didn't have to have a shot today! When the dr. said you don't have to come back until she's two I almost cried! Where's my little baby, she's turning into a big girl!

New word the week

*I tuck- or Mama I tuck! Means I'm stuck, she is climbing everywhere and goes into every hole her body can fit like around.

Everybody Boing Boing!

Tonight we went to Kazooing with the Latin Family Connection! We had a blast! We saw alot of our friends and it has been way too long. The last event they had was the storm that left us out of school for a week.

Kaya's silly face, this was the outfit for the night!

Kaya and Cohen (my friend Lori's little boy), he was 2 at the end Oct. He and Kaya are the same size! They ran and jumped like crazy people! They were making their crowns for 3 King's Day! Oh notice the outfit change, juice all down the front on the way to Louisville, I was so mad at her b/c I had just said not to do that! And she looked so cute, luckily we had a spare wardrobe in the car with hair bows to boot!

Mary Beth with Eliana and Sarah with Sophie Bug and Ana (I think). Sarah is the blogging guru from Kiss the frog for me! All the adults had just as much fun on the big slide as the kids! Well most, Lori, Cohen, Kaya, and I went down four or five times! Cohen wouldn't go with out Lori, but Kaya oh she just slid right down no fear from my little daredevil (It scares me!)

It's Finally Friday

Well this is being posted Sat., but Friday we went on a play date. We went to Tracey and Eric's house. Tricia was there along with their childhood friend Jill (Yes another one). Tracey and Tricia are sisters for those of you who don't know. We've known each other since we were sparkles in our daddy's eye! Me, being the stellar mom that I am, forgot my camera! I did have extra clothes which Casey needed. LOL that's in there for Tricia, b/c she's one of the most prepared mom's I have ever know. She always has whatever you need and more of it! I love being her friend. We had a great time, thanks for letting us tag along.

I know a Farmer who had a dog

and Darbee was her name Oh!!!

Kaya has become obsessed with Darbee. She is chasing her around, pulling her hair, and loving on her. First words out of her mouth this morning was Darbee! I'm so tickled they are getting along, well Kaya is poor Darbee. She looks at me like what are you doing to me!

Kaya is actually obsessed with all animals. She makes all the sounds and is learning more and more from Diego. She will look at animal books all day long, her favorite puzzles are the ones with animals. She is currently scared of bears, but we are working on this (I think she's scared b/c of Dora when she is chased by a polar bear!).

Please pray for Abby! There is a button on my blog you can read about her. She starts her roughest round of Chemo tomorrow. She's adopted from Guatemala and has cancer. This phase of the treament is the hardest. This family is full of faith and we are praying hard. Please agian pray for Abby, your prayer could be the one that saves her life!

FFF-Brrrr!!! It's cold outside!

This is one of my very favorite pictures!!! It's been posted before, but I love this picture. You will notice Kaya has on Robez in the snow! We didn't play just for pictures. It was taken right after we got home and we had a huge snow! Right after this she did a face plant in the snow and it didn't last any longer than that! hehe

Kaya is still wearing this coat! She looks so cute in it. She looks like a little Eskimo!

Thursday Toes

Have I said lately how much I love every part of this little girl???

We have a book that is about a cow it is called "I Udderly Love You!" Part of it says "I love you every Moo-vement the way you skip about, and how your hooves point inwards, while all your knees stick out! Even when you Moo-dy, not meaning to be bad! It's great to be your mommy, I love you through and through, I udderly, udderly love you and I know you love me too!"I love Kaya that way! I got this great picture showing how big her feet actually are! I love this picture, just like I love her!

By the way when we read this book Darbee hates it because I moo really loud hehe it makes her very upset! We read it all the time!

Ms. Dynamite

One of my New Years Resolutions is to post on my blog more often.



We got home from Christmas on Tuesday. I got sick on Wednesday, so we have been at home since then only out and about a tiny bit! Just to get the dust blown off of us!





Kaya has an obsession with one person, Ninny! (Much to my mom's delight!) Here she is calling Ninny. She will get in her Dora car with her purse or her baby and look up and say "Bye." I'll ask where are you going? Her answer always the same "Ninny's." Not too shabby for a girl who wouldn't look my mom in the face for the first five days we had her! She would turn her head hehe. Liked to kill my mom, but she is making up for it now!

"Ninny, can you hear me now?"

Hopefully, more pictures tomorrow night Kaya had a really had time going to sleep tonight and I have to go back to work tomorrow :-(, so I'm going to have to cut this one short!
