Today was my baby girl's first birthday. I can't believe she is one. We started the day off by getting up and enjoying a nice relaxing morning. Then we went to the park with Tricia, Bailey, Casey, Tracey (Tricia's Sister), her little one Levi, Lisa (one of thier friends) and her little girl Lily. (Pictures will be added later, I forgot my camera!)
Then we came home and Kaya took a two hour nap! Kaya usually sleeps for 15 to 30 minutes at a time, so this was great! While she was asleep I got the house all decorated, the cupcakes iced, the pool filled, and the house picked up. I was exhausted when she woke up and needed a nap myself.
At 5 we had a few friends over and had cupcakes and ice cream. thsi was the second time she had cake, so I am sure she will be expecting a party every weekend now. Good luck on that one. Kaya hated the baby pool, I ended up getting in with her. I am sure the neighbors thought that was a sight! We were in the front yard, because Darbee has exclusive use of the back yard. Tricia brought a blow up bouncing thing, which Kaya did not like either. I'm gonna have to work on this. Kaya was exhausted by 7, but I kept her up until 8:00 her usual bed time.
We had a great day.
