Dr Feelgood

Kaya went to the Dr. today. She weighs 22 lbs and 14 oz. which puts her in the 95th percentile for American Children which is awesome. Her height is off the charts, but I am not sure it was right. They said 32" which I think is to long. I will measure her again here at home. She was pronounced healthy. She did get one shot. I'm not sure what it was but they said it was for ear infections. I have the paper with the name, but I don't think it's that important. Best news was she took a 2 hr nap. Our schedule was so off today, she is just now laying down to bed and is cranky. It's been a long night. I hope she will sleep awhile in her own bed.
Kaya also went to the "View" today and got to meet some new people. I tried to keep her away from the students as much as possible, but they were excited to see me and her. It felt good for them to say you need to come back Miss Arnold. I'm already dreading leaving my baby girl. Oh well we will cross that bridge when we get there.

This picture is fuzzy, but I love it. It really shows her "Playful" spirit. She loves playing and she's a hoot! The only one here who doesn't think so is Darbee. Kaya keeps trying to play with her and she just runs off.

Tonight I opened the front door and Darbee was looking out of it. Kaya decided that would be fun and took Darbee's spot. It was so funny. Darbee looked at me like what does she think she's doing? This is my window! I'll work on getting pictures of them togeter tomorrow.
