Take this job and ______ it!

Haha fill in the blank. Betcha thought shove right, but you know I really do love my job and the people at work. So lets not say shove it, but pause it! I know Parkview will move on without me, but I will miss it for the seven weeks I am off. I offically started my maternity leave today! It will be so different not to be going to work, but I know I will see everyone after I bring Kaya home, but I know I will miss them.

The title of my blog is Journey to Kaya, and I am getting ready to embark on a new leg of the journey. In less than 6 days Kaya will be in my arms and we will be a forever family. I'm nervous of the unknown, but calm about bringing a baby into my life. I am sure that every parent feels these feelings, but I truely know that God has had a hand in bringing this little angel into my life and I cannot wait to get her here and experience life in her eyes.

I have a few prayer requests. . .
*safe journey for my parents, Kaya, and myself
*for Kaya that she not grieve to much for her foster mother, begin the bonding process, and adjust to life in her new forever family
*for Kaya's foster mother who loves her and has been her mother for the last 8 months
*for Kaya's birth mother who gave up so much and I know she has a whole in her heart that will never be filled
*for Darbee so that she will adjust to having the baby here

I also want to thank everyone for all their support as I have gone through this Journey to Kaya!

Jill, I'm praying for you that your trip will go well and Kaya will adjust easily. Enjoy your time off....you will hate leaving that precious girl to go back to work!!!! Brenda

Jill, My mom and I are praying for you, kaya and your parents safe return home. We pray that this transition is easy on baby kaya but know that in time all things will be great because she has a wonderful new Mommy.....we can't wait to meet her, she's looking more and more like you (seriously) those cheeks.

What a wonderful life!
